The more than 900 km of coastline in southern Spain offer a great deal: dream beaches, maritime-terrestrial parks and, of course, world-class maritime infrastructure. In this post, we tell you which are the main marinas in Andalusia, which not only offer the best services to vessels but also to their sailors when they step ashore, as they have become true leisure hubs. Take note and contact us if you require any services there!
Puerto Banús, a pioneer in exclusivity
Puerto Banús, in Marbella, is not only one of the best marinas in Andalusia, but also the great pioneer of luxury tourism in the region, which began in the second half of the 20th century and is well-established today. It opened in 1970 and has 915 berths for boats up to 50 meters in length and with a 4-meter draft.
Puerto Marina Benalmádena, worthy of the Costa del Sol
The Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga, actually has many other marinas with high quality standards in their infrastructure and a variety of services. A good example of this is Puerto Marina Benalmádena, with 1,045 berths for boats up to 35 meters in length and with a 5-meter draft.

Sotogrande, a true ‘luxury’ among the marinas of Andalusia
The province of Cadiz covers part of the Costa del Sol. And not just any part, but Sotogrande, another benchmark for high luxury in the entire community. Its port has 1,380 berths for boats up to 30 meters in length.
Puerto Sherry, a benchmark for leisure in El Puerto de Santa María
As we mentioned, the marinas of Andalusia have become places for leisure. One of the best examples is Puerto Sherry, in El Puerto de Santa María (Cadiz, Costa de la Luz). Beyond its 842 berths, with a maximum length of 55 meters and a maximum draft of 3.5 meters, this port is highly sought after for its rich gastronomic and commercial offerings, which make it a place full of atmosphere.

Marina del Este, exclusivity on the Costa Tropical
Despite its short length, the Costa Tropical of Granada also has much to offer. For example, Marina del Este, in the town of La Herradura (Almuñécar). It is relatively small (220 berths), but stands out as one of the most picturesque in the region.
Marina El Rompido, a great river port
Huelva is one of the provinces with the greatest seafaring tradition and its marinas prove it. Among them, Marina El Rompido stands out, which is actually a river port with 331 berths and a maximum length of 24 meters. Above all, it offers one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Andalusian coast.
Almerimar, championing the Poniente Almeriense
The province of Almeria also has some of the best marinas in Andalusia. To the east, the Cabo de Gata Natural Park stands out for its beauty and, being protected, its ports are also more ‘minimalist’. But to the west are other large-scale ones, such as Almerimar, in El Ejido, with 997 berths and great development in recent years.
