From the Roman temple to the medieval synagogue
Córdoba is best explained in a low voice, among columns that have stood for centuries and courtyards that only open their doors to those who know how to knock.
From the street, many houses in Córdoba say nothing: a white façade, a barred window, and a closed door. The surprise is inside, in courtyards full of pots and flowers that their neighbours care for all year round.
The tradition of the Cordoban patio is recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and you can understand it any day of the year by walking slowly and looking towards half-open doors.
Walking through the neighbourhood with someone who knows these streets, you learn to notice what most people walk right past: wells and tiles peeking through a door left ajar, the pots that signal which houses have a patio, and the logic of an architecture designed for life behind closed doors.
We propose showing you Córdoba with these three guided tours:
From the Roman temple to the medieval synagogue
Nearly 850 columns and a cathedral at the exact centre
The palatine city built to display power
Beyond these three guided tours of Córdoba, there are workshops, patios, and corners that almost never appear on standard itineraries. If any interest you, we’ll include them in your tour.

Córdoba doesn’t have the queues of Seville or Granada, but it still has its own bottlenecks: shuttle time slots to Medina Azahara, limited capacity at the Mosque, or official guides that must be booked many weeks in advance.
We take care of that.
We have accredited specialist guides
The Mosque and Medina Azahara require guides with official accreditation. Ours have it, and they’ve also spent years explaining the Caliphate of Córdoba to travellers eager to understand.
Everything sorted in advance
Shuttle time slots to Medina Azahara, Mosque schedules, and any other arrangements are confirmed before you arrive. You simply show up to enjoy.
A closed group, no add-ons
You don’t share a guide or van with other travellers you don’t know. The tour is yours and whoever you choose—completely private, exclusive, and personalised.
You set the pace
If you want to linger longer in a patio or skip a stop, done. There’s no one else behind you waiting to move on; you have the final say on everything.

Andalucía Exclusiva has been designing luxury trips across southern Spain for years, always with the same idea: fewer postcards and more real context. In Córdoba we work with officially accredited guides for the Mosque and Medina Azahara, as well as collaborators who have spent their whole lives in the city and know what’s worth it—and what isn’t.
