Isla Mágica, a benchmark for theme parks in Andalusia
Isla Mágica is located in Seville and is arguably the most important of all theme parks in Andalusia. It emerged at the end of the 20th century, utilizing part of the Expo ’92 facilities, and in 2014 it incorporated the Agua Mágica area, an integrated water park. It is themed into different zones, such as Puerto de Indias, El Dorado, Amazonia, and La Guarida de los Piratas. Its most iconic attractions are the Jaguar, a roller coaster where you ride with your feet dangling, and El Desafío, a 68-meter free fall.
Tivoli World: the Costa del Sol amusement park
In an area as popular as the Costa del Sol, an amusement park for the little ones is a must. This role is primarily fulfilled by Tivoli World, located in Benalmádena. Its atmosphere is reminiscent of the popular fairgrounds set up during Andalusian patron saint festivals throughout the region, but with more impressive offerings, such as its 60-meter Drop Tower.
