For this reason, we have chosen five ideal places to enjoy <a href=\"https:\/\/andaluciaexclusiva.com\/experiencias\/turismo-activo\/\">active tourism<\/a> in Ja\u00e9n, regardless of the season in which you wish to organize your trip.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to enjoy active tourism in Ja\u00e9n? 5 places <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we explain on this page, there are five major natural areas in the province of Ja\u00e9n: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas Natural Park<\/li><li>The Sierra de And\u00fajar Natural Park<\/li><li>The Sierra M\u00e1gina Natural Park<\/li><li>The Despe\u00f1aperros Natural Park<\/li><li>The Sierra Sur<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we have selected a town from each of them, which will serve as your &#8216;base camp&#8217; for your active tourism holidays in Ja\u00e9n.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Segura de la Sierra<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although this picturesque town is known for its beautiful historical and artistic heritage, it can also be a good place from which to organize excursions and activities in nature. There is an interesting network of trails in its surroundings, many of which are sections or variants of the GR 247, which covers practically the entire Natural Park. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ba\u00f1os de la Encina<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is another town that, in addition to its spectacular architectural heritage (Burgalimar Castle), can be an interesting place for active tourism in Ja\u00e9n. Located at the foot of the Sierra de And\u00fajar Natural Park, which is part of Sierra Morena, it not only offers numerous hiking trails but also allows for water activities such as kayaking in the Rumblar reservoir.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Santa Elena<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A town that is a mandatory stop along the A-4 in the famous Despe\u00f1aperros pass, it is also a municipality whose surroundings offer interesting places to enjoy active tourism in Ja\u00e9n. To the west lies the Despe\u00f1aperros Natural Park, with its characteristic rugged appearance, and to the east, the famous Cascada de la Cimbarra, declared a Natural Site in the town of Aldeaquemada. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jimena<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This small town in Sierra M\u00e1gina is a good place to start and stay if you want to discover this small but imposing mountain range. In fact, it is located near, for example, the Cueva de la Graja or the Pinar de C\u00e1nava, declared a Natural Monument. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Castillo de Locub\u00edn<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This town is located in the Sierra Sur, in the southern part of the province, and although its landscapes are not as rugged and mountainous as in other green areas of Ja\u00e9n, it also offers many possibilities for active tourism, especially for families and less experienced visitors. A good example of this is the Source of the San Juan River, just 3 kilometers from this town. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, the possibilities for active tourism in Ja\u00e9n are spread across all points of the province.
